Grace came down!

Christmas is here! The malls are decorated with Christmas trees, people are busy shopping for gifts, hotels and restaurants are giving discounts on Christmas buffets. But in the midst of all these, may we not forget the real reason for Christmas – Jesus Christ.
More than 2000 years ago the Holy God sent down His Holy Son to this sin-filled world – not to condemn sinners but to save them. This Christmas let us reflect on the amazing grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Think about it my friend, the one who created the heavens and the earth willingly chose to become a fetus in Mary’s womb, the one whose feet always walked on streets of gold came down and walked on the dirty and dusty streets of Jerusalem, the one who is the author of life bowed down to the power of death! And He did it just for you!
Above all else Christmas is a time to celebrate the grace of Jesus Christ - the one who stooped down to help undeserving people like us just because He loves us.
He came for a reason and that reason is you!
He came to reveal what the heavenly Father is willing to do just to bring you back to Him. He came to proclaim that you are not forgotten, that you are more precious to him than millions of stars and planets in the universe, that He wants you to live with Him forever and ever!
For God so loved you, He did not just send you flowers or a card or a box of chocolate or a gift voucher but He sent His beloved Son to die an ugly death on the cross so that you can have abundant life here and in the life after.
So no matter what life has done to you this year, look up, cheer up and remember GRACE CAME JUST FOR YOU!
I know that as you continue to grow in the grace of God, the coming year will be filled with all the blessings that Christ died to give you.
