How one falls from grace?
As we study the Word of God we find that the grace of God is the central theme of the entire Bible. We also discover that God's grace is the answer to every human need. In the grace of God is found all our blessing and wholeness. Therefore, it is very important that we learn to live under grace every day in every area.
Look and live!
Numbers 21:8-9
8 The Lord said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live." 9 So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived.
You probably have read this incident that occurred when the Israelites were in the wilderness. Due to their complaining and ungratefulness, they opened themselves to the poisonous snakes that were already in the desert.
Is Your Normal Biblical?
Friends, we live in a world today, which has strayed so far away from truth, that only the power of the Almighty God can break the power of lies which hold so many people captive. People are trying desperately to find real truth. They have been deceived into seeking truth based upon what our media says is right, or what politics says is right, or what science or our culture says is right. Many have even sought truth based upon what they ‘feel’ is right! Because they have been deceived by these false sources of truth, ultimately they are led deeper into bondage and destruction rather than the freedom they desire.
My friend, you cannot run away from the fact that what you have accepted as truth in your life will greatly affect the way you live. Satan uses the power of his lies to control people. John 8:44 tells us, “You belong to your father, the devil, (Jesus is talking to the hypocritical and religious leaders of His day) and you want to carry out your father's desire. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
